Finding Your Why Quote & Note Day 16 Of 30
There are many benefits to Finding Your “Why” or “Purpose”.. Your “Why” or “Purpose” simply being the motivating reason you get up in the morning to do what you do..
And let's face it only a madman(or “madwoman” to be politically correct) would choose to wake up in the morning to do stuff they were totally unmotivated to do.. Yet statistics show that the majority of people wake up in the morning feeling just that way because they have no passion or love for the work they do..
For example, Carmine Gallo in a Forbes article shared these facts:
“71% of workers are “not engaged” or “actively disengaged” from their work. I checked several sources including Gallup’s own web site because I was sure it had to be a typo. Seventy-one percent of employees are not engaged in their work? No wonder customer service is the pits. Employees simply don’t care!” – (Forbes, Carmine Gallo)
And I suspect the statistics are much higher than 71%.. But either way, this is no way to live and sounds much like a prison sentence to me, since most of our waking hours of our lives will be spent going to work.. But it needn't be this way..
And on that note I have some Good News for you..
